| | Texas Exotics | | | | | Blackbuck Antelope  Looking around Texas, one would never think that blackbuck antelope were near extinction. They're everywhere! We have them here and they can be found on nearly every exotic hunting ranch in Texas.
There are actually more blackbucks in Texas alone than in all of their native range of Pakistan and India, where they are still considered an endangered/threatened species. Their population in Texas can be attributed to their popularity by hunters. Only adult males have that beautiful black cape. Immature animals and females are tan in color. They tend to be very cautious animals and will keep their distance from people and vehicles. The blackbucks here at WB Ranch, though never hunted, display these same characteristics-and all we try to do is feed them corn and cattle cubes! Because they like to be able to look out for predators, you'll find our blackbucks in very open fields. She is a server for the kitchen crew. She has worked for WB Ranch for nearly 2 1/2 years. While working here, Jennifer has met people from all over the world-an experience she has truly enjoyed. Though she helps with the kitchen inside, Jennifer loves to bring her family out to the ranch to tour and see the wildlife. The guides like Jennifer because she's not afraid to get her hands dirty. When extra help is needed most outside, Jennifer can always be counted on to lend a hand and get the job done, whether it be feeding the animals or cleaning birds. This is a great time for you to pick up your new hunting companion. These pups are out of field trial and hunting parents. Grandparents on both sides are Field Champions. These should make great hunting dogs. We have 5 females and 3 males available. They are priced at $400 and we are taking $100 deposits to hold them. So don't delay they won't be available long. We have a large selection of pointing dogs for sale right now to suit any hunter's taste: English pointers, German shorthairs, brittanies, drathaars; close hunters to field burners; and dogs at every level of training, started, experienced, and finished.
